Certification
Can my own dog be trained as an assistance dog?
A personal dog can become an assistance dog. Each dog must undergo an individual assessment to evaluate its temperament, behavior, health and suitability for this specialized role.

If the dog meets the initial requirements, the owner and dog are invited to participate in a structured training program designed to develop the skills needed for an assistance partnership.
Both must complete the required training and demonstrate that they can work together safely and reliably.
Not every dog is suited to assistance work, and acceptance depends on the individual assessment, training progress and program requirements. Our priority is to ensure that every assistance dog partnership is built on trust, appropriate training and the well-being of both the dog and its handler.
